Nov 21, 2024 · I am very new to this software / development and was wondering, where do things stand regarding an install for Arm64? I have a Surface Pro 11 with a Snapdragon X Elite processor, which has proven to be a hit or miss for a lot of other CAD software. Naturally, the program doesn't even start for me on this computer.
Jul 30, 2018 · I think there is no FreeCAD 'updater' (<== for lack of a better word) with Windows I don't know if you have to uninstall your old 0.17 version before installing a newer version of 0.17, or if you can just install a newer 0.17 version over an older 0.17 version. Mar 5, 2022 · Would have killed them just to provide an exe file that you click on it and software get installed????? Looks like every little task in free CAD ends up being very time consuming and difficult.
Dec 11, 2023 · Just animating in FreeCAD is possible but if you want to export animation for flight sims or other games, you should use vertex modelling software such as Blender or 3D MAX. Texturing for game is also whole different problem from 3D CAD software.
